Purple Nine Glitch fix
Most people are familiar with the Purple Nines glitch. If you've played through Rumble and later start a new game, there's a chance that Purple Nines won't even appear on the street, making the mission Uzi Money unpassable.
On PS2, you're screwed and have to start a new game with your memory card unplugged. On PC however, there is a fix. And if you're using v1.0 of the GTA3.exe, you can even impliment it while the game is running and next time you play Uzi Money, your targets will be Red Nines and the mission is passable regardless. When you start a new game on PC, make sure you have all the save games with the 'Rumble' mission completed removed - either simply deleted or temporarily moved to another location. As soon as you save your new game for the first time, you can restore old save games in the 'GTA III User Files' folder, if needed. That way the new file will be unaffected.
Just go to Shoreside Vale to check if it really worked. Works for me!

It won't take long and you will be able to restart if it's neccessary. Another possible solution would be creating savefile with first mission completed and use this everytime you will do the playthrough. Make sure that save isn't glitched. However, some people like to start from the very beginning (such as myself) so it would be better to just check every save at the beginning of the playthrough.
